Wet Felted Poinsettias (November 29, 10-4pm)

Get into the festive spirit and create your own trio of felted poinsettias!

In this full-day workshop, you will learn how to felt vibrant coloured merino wool fibres using the technique of wet felting and design your very own custom poinsettias. We will also incorporate the shibori technique, which allows you to create areas of your piece which are three-dimensional.

You will leave this class with three completed poinsettias using colours and embellishment fibres of your choice, with each one measuring approximately 6-8 inches in size. We will be attaching our three poinsettas to metal floral hoops so that you can hang your wreath on a door or wall, or lay it down as a centrepiece. You can select gold or silver for your wreath.

All your supplies will be provided, along with fresh baked goodies as morning eats. Please bring your own lunch.  This workshop will be held at my home studio in Kitchener (Kiwanis Park area) Address will be provided upon registration)
